ANDOVER, Mass., Aug. 25, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq:DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, today announced it has been awarded a task order for $3.4 million, for a performance period of one base year and two one-year options. DRC will support the Air Force Global Cyberspace Integration Center providing engineering services and program management support to the Air Combat Command Tactical Satellite Terminals and the Single Integrated Air Picture program.

"This is our first task order under the LMSS contract, which enables DRC to deliver quality logistics systems and services to support joint service initiatives across the Department of Defense."
This task order is the company's first award under the Defense Department's indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity Logistics, Maintenance and Supply Support contract, known as LMSS. DRC was one of six prime contractors awarded the DoD's LMSS contract in May 2008 to provide lifecycle management services across the Defense Department Services. Awarded through the U.S. Army's Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems, the five year LMSS contract has a ceiling value for all contractors of $268 million.
