DRC Awarded $13 Million Contract for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Support

Company Expands Engineering, Program Management and Analysis Support

ANDOVER, Mass., Aug. 6, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dynamics Research Corporation (Nasdaq:DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, science and technology solutions to federal and state governments, today announced it has been awarded a contract by the Army Contracting Command — National Capital Region to support the Air Force Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office.

The task order, valued at $13 million, has a period of performance of 7.5 months and one option year. This latest task order expands DRC's work with this program by more than 20%, bringing total revenue with the program to approximately $16 million per year. Under the terms of the contract, DRC will expand its support in engineering, logistics, and program management services.
